The project "Green changemakers lab: Eco-innovation in youth work" (2026-1-BG01-KA153-YOU-000390077) took place in Stara Zagora, Bulgaria from 01 to 09 October 2026. The mobility involved 30 participants from Bulgaria, Poland, Italy, Romania, Serbia, Greece, Türkiye, Slovakia and Croatia. Hosting organisation was NGO 21 Steps from Bulgaria, while the other partners were Kolorowe sny from Poland, Elios from Italy, the Romanian NGO "Go For It", NGO Axis from Serbia, ProNous from Greece, Youth Season from Türkiye; Slovakian MOTHER FLOWER and Udruga Essentia from Croatia. The participants were youth workers of various profiles and professions who actively work with young people and such with fewer opportunities.
The main objective of the training was to contribute to a significant improvement in the quality and effectiveness of youth work by building key competences in the field of sustainable development, ecological innovation, and practices related to the "green" transition. The participants improved their knowledge and skills in interactive workshops, group projects and sessions with non-formal learning methods.
The impact on participants was expressed in raising their awareness of sustainable development, developing skills for creating environmentally responsible practices, and empowering them to apply innovations in their daily work. They gained knowledge and practical experience in areas such as eco-game methodologies, storytelling for sustainability, circular economy, and green entrepreneurship.
